It was a nice, cold Saturday afternoon when I decided to go for a walk in nature. Since I am living near a magical place that you will see in the pictures below, I decided to visit it. The last day was just snowing, so it was all trimmed into a white blanket. I could say that everything was frozen in time. I remember days since I was still a child the lake was frozen and we could ice skate on it, Yes those days were really magical. 6 km long trail around the lake is just long enough for simple recreation (walks or bike rides). This trail also leads to sightseeing rises – Castle Hill and nearby hills with splendid views. Take a rest on one of the benches and enjoy the view on the lake with an island and the Karavanke mountains in the distance, and observe the ducks and swans playing on the surface of the lake. But don`t forget to try also special Slovenian dish – Blejska Kremsnita! 🍮
